In honor of the new year it was time for a new look for both Jake and the blog. Jake had his second haircut this past weekend and it was just like the first one, not fun! I guess I can understand why Jake might not want some strange person coming at him with scissors!
After such a busy 2008, 2009 has started out pretty mellow...but knowing us I bet that won't last for very long.
We had a fantastic bowl season with both the Ducks and Dawgs winning their games. Sadly, the Duck game was on after Jake's bedtime.
Jake and Daddy always look good in their Georgia jersey's.
Even though it is cold, we've been spending lots of time at the playground. Jake loves the slide, tolerates the swing, and mostly just likes to run around.
As Jake is getting older he's getting to be very helpful. Yesterday on our way home from school he helped me catch up on emails.
Even though Alex and I are trying to stick to our New Year's resolutions to lose a few extra pounds, Jake is eating absolutely (well...almost) everything.
Jake really, really wants the waffle even though it was still frozen.

Ahhhhh OMG he is getting so big!! He is so precious. A man after my own heart...mmmmmm peanut butter! Too funny. When are we getting together?! xo
oh my gosh, Peanut butter! My addiction...can't wait to give it to Had. Haven't gotten that go-ahead yet. I swear, ask 10 doctors and you'll get 10 different, yet adamant, answers for when the kiddos can have it. I'm sure Had will love her some waffles and pb soon though!! I hope Jake feels better and we can play soon!
