Fun first experiences

What a fun weekend with all sorts of first experiences. First steps, first haircut, and first trip to the pumpkin patch.

We weren't quite able to capture those first few steps (something to do with not quite being able to catch him and take the pictures) but we're sure you'll be seeing him in action soon.

Alex and I took Jake for his 1st haircut on Sunday! We went once before with the intention of getting his haircut but I chickened out. Even though he screamed throughout the whole thing he got a "first haircut certificate." Boy does he look cute with his new cut!

I don't think I'm going to like this!

We had tons of fun out at the pumpkin patch with our friends Aron, Layton, and Hadley Griffin. Jake is just a couple of days older than Hadley and is a super cute and a very fun play date!

Other fun stuff from the weekend:

On Saturday Jake and I met my friend Maya for brunch. We go way back to our 4th/5th grade Hebrew school class.

Maya just got engaged (congrats!!) so we had lots to catch up on. Jake was super great at brunch and the poor boy even sat through us looking at invitations and walking around Crate & Barrel looking at items to register for. Thanks, Jake for letting us have our fun!
