Fall fashion and other updates!

This morning actually felt like fall. So to match the weather, Daddy broke out a few pieces from his fall wardrobe. Thanks to the newly married (yes, married!)Uncle Mark and Auntie Evan for the cute shirt!

Jake (and his parents) had a pretty mellow weekend. We've all been sick and are still kind of on the mend so the weekend was a welcome break. We did have two fun brunches over the weekend that we neglected to take any pictures during.

First we met Jake's friend (and occasional babysitter) Carolyn and her boyfriend Matt in Del Ray for brunch on Saturday at Fireflies. We had been waiting to meet Matt and he was great. I think Jake liked just sitting with Carolyn and of course all the Cheerios that go along with a meal out.

On Sunday we met Alex's friend Lisa, her husband Ian, and their new baby Jack. Jack is 6-weeks and so cute and little. Even though it feels like Jake was just born, I can barely remember him being so little! You sure couldn't do this when he was 6-weeks old!

Speaking of what a big guy Jake is now...he turned 10 months last week! I can't quite believe it. Something about going into the double digits of months really got to me.

Here is Jake after we took a long walk on Saturday afternoon. Since I'd call Jake "sleep-challenged" we're happy to get a nap out of him however we can.

On Sunday night we had a visit from our good friends Sarah, Rob, and Joseph! Joseph will definitely be able to teach Jake a few things!!

Yesterday after school Jake helped me sort through the mail. His sorting process involved chewing on anything he could get his hands on!

You can almost see his top two teeth! These suckers have been way more difficult coming in then the bottom two and we've definitely lost some sleep over them!
