Welcome back Auntie Rachel!

Things are busy at Jake's house! The Ducks and Dawgs are back in action. Alex is busy with work, fantasy football, and getting ready to head down to Athens for a Georgia game in a few weeks (he won tickets to one of the biggest games of the year, how cool is that!). I'm getting over a cold and loosing my voice and swamped with work and the Service to America Medals -seating 600 for an event is not fun! (http://www.servicetoamericamedals.org/)

And most importantly Jake is doing all kinds of new and (mostly) adorable things! But first a review of our weekend.

Jake was excited for a special visit on Friday from his favorite (okay..only) Auntie Rachel! In her honor he wore a gift from her trip to you guessed it...Peru!

It was a quick but fun visit as Rachel and Warren left on Saturday morning. Not feeling great, I must say I enjoyed some of the rain that Hurricane Hannah brought, we stayed in all day and Jake and Alex let me catch up on some much needed sleep.

Speaking of sleep...Jake had been making modest progress in his sleep until recently, which is incredibly sad for me and Alex!!! But yesterday we realized what might be keeping him up....TWO NEW TEETH!!! This time it is the top two!! They're coming in and I'm sure you'll be seeing them soon.
