Goodbye summer, hello fall!

As Labor Day weekend usually means the end of Summer and the beginning of fall we tried to take advantage of one last long weekend. We had a fun first summer with Jake with some fun trips and of course lots of firsts!

Even though we might be sad that summer is officially over, we're pretty excited about the Fall. Because in this household fall means football!

Getting ready for the #1 ranked Georgia Bulldogs first game!

The Dawgs won their home opener against Georgia Southern, 45 -21.

Jake celebrating the Ducks win (and eating his toy) against the Huskies, 44-10!

While daddy was welcoming the football season, Jake and I headed to Falls Church, VA to spend sometime with Shana and Baby Spencer before dinner with Matt and Melissa.

Hanging with Matt!

Smile Jake, Melissa is cooking up a friend for you!

On Sunday, Jake and I met up with a few of the mom's and babies from our playgroup. Jake wasn't complaining that it was Jake and the girls!

Jake and the girls! (Not my best picture)

After we left the girls we came home to hang with dad. We ran some errands and went to the grocery store.

We had big plans for Monday and our extra day off including going for Jake's first haircut, a BBQ, and hanging out with friends. Unfortunately Jake wasn't feeling great so we hung close to home. Hopefully he'll wake up refreshed and feeling all better. Even with a sick baby boy we had a fun weekend just spending time with our guy!
