After picking Jake up at daycare on Friday, I thought I'd copycat Becca and take in the warm weather with a walk around the park in Cameron Station. Also a perfect excuse to finally get Jake in his new sandals!
While giving Jake dinner back at the house, he missed his mommy enough to wave at her picture saying "momma!"
On Saturday, Jake and I took advantage of the nice weather and went to Georgetown to walk around with our friend Rachel and her adorable daughter, Samanatha. On the walk, Rachel had a couple of lollipops so Jake got try his first lollipop and loved it:
After our walk, we sat and had lunch along the water, where Samantha enjoyed her french fries and Jake started what should be a long term trend for him - going into daddy's wallet:
Today, Jake and I headed out to Tyson's to do another parent-child lunch meet up with our friend Matt and his daughter Sarah. Though I forgot pull the camera out over lunch, prior to Matt and Sarah's arrival, we took advantage of the huge play land in Tyson's Mall for Jake to run around and have a great time (and get worn out for his nap later):
All in all, a very fun weekend and a good opportunity for Jake and I to have lot's of bonding time, as well as get some extra time with good friends before we leave for Texas in June.
