This was the first weekend that really felt like summer so we needed to get Jake properly outfitted!

Friday night we had a fun dinner out with our friends Greg and Shana. Jake and Auntie Shana finally had some quality time with Jake before he fell asleep and let us enjoy the rest of our meal!
Saturday morning Jake and I took a nice long walk and Jake slept through a much needed trip to the grocery! Later that afternoon Jake's friend from play group, Liana, came over to hang out(she brought her parents too) which was so nice.

On Sunday morning Alex, Jake, and I headed to Maryland for brunch with my cousin's Karen and Elliot and Karen's parents (my honorary grandparents) Ann and Albert.

Jake spent most of brunch sitting with Elliot pulling on his beard and reading with him. Jake and Karen also had some time to snuggle and hang out!

This morning Jake tried his second food...Peas!! I'd say Jake wasn't overwhelmed by his first vegetable but since more of it ended up in his mouth then on him, I'd call it a success.

For lunch we went over to our friend's the Kamlet's for a BBQ. Unfortunately for Jake he's not yet ready for what was on the menu. After lunch Jake had another hot date this time with Hadley! We met Hadley's parents, Aron and Layton, in our baby class and kept in touch after the class ended. Even thought she was due earlier, Jake was born two days before Hadley. Layton's blog for Hadley was also my inspiration for starting this blog for Jake!

They're so cute together and we can't wait to get them together again!
